Electrifying Easter Parade in Verdun... beware the seductive drone
I try not to watch this because I find myself humming the darn annoying song for days afterwards..then again they say humming clears the sinuses..so there's a bit of upside to this stuff.

reminds me of some other rituals we used to see in Verdun though by no means unique to the place.One was a religious parade in June which I can't remeber beyond "corpus christie" or something like that. The other is, of course, the French stage party where a guy basically gets tarred and feathered by his "friends" on a trailer that is very slowly pulled around town. Haven't seen that one in years, and, uh, maybe that's a good thing:P

Great, entertaining blog -- but you guys are, dare I say it, simultaneously nearsighted and Presbyopic(capital P) when it comes to a certain faith.
