Andy Wattie's by-election campaign literature suggests that the world's population be reduced in this way:"One out of about fifty extended family members would be called upon to be the one each extended family would feel would be best suited to represent its members in the human gene pool. Females would have on averge two children but would stay at home with their parents so as to discourage further procreation. This process would eventually become a world-wide phenomenon."
He also suggests that the world be divided into 20 regions with Cyprus being the world's capital and Winnipeg as the capital for this area.
You go Andy! Keep those great ideas coming!

HAHA! Just when you thought NDP was the craziest party around. This guy is so left wing he's almost right wing.
Conservatives FTW. The least Liberal of the bunch.
i live in that riding and when i saw this guy's poster, and that photo i thought of those Crime alerts...this guy looks like he's on a MOST WANTED list...ewww! can't he find a photo that doesn't look like it was just unswirled?
yeah, i agre with leebossa. i think this guy took his campaign photo in one of those booths in the metro.
pleeeeease post the full pamphlet, or whatever you got.
Is there a secret message in his misspelling of "independent" on that sign? The email address is certainly a work of art.

I thought it was really amusing to see
a by-election being run, while most of
that campaign we've been hearing rumors
of a full election.
Did everyone have to go out this morning,
take down their posters, and put them back
up? Otherwise, they've jumped the gun
for this full election.
The delays were going on for so long that
I figured the by-election would come and
go, and someone would get elected. It
might have even skewed the results, with
people voting in either the NDP or the
Green Party with the knowledge that
six weeks later, they could vote
in the tried and true Liberal.
Meanwhile, I wonder how many have already
voted, in the advanced poll last week?
