Montreal's nicest ramp

This is one of my favourite architectural structures on the island, also set in one of the nicest places. You can zoom down it on a bike or rollerblades which I imagine would be killer fun, it's also right near the most reliable view of a sunset that the city offers. Anybody know it? Yes. We have a proper answer! It is a newly-built (last year) bike-foot ramp built from the bridge at the western tip of the island, aka Ste. Anne de Bellevue. It's a very cool thing in a very cool spot, near a neat strip of bars, restaurants and boutique and adjacent to water and a boardwalk, it's possibly my favourite place on the island of Montreal.

Is it your favorite because you own property there?

  5. it's great that they fixed it, the old overpass was a mess, old, rusty and badly designed.

  6. I also like the one which crosses over the railway tracks at the corner of de Maisonneuve and Grand Blvd. in NDG, and which is much more appealing than the smelly pedestrian underpass further east at the corner of Melrose.

Nice, but surely pricey. Especially when the alternative, a good old-fashioned staircase, works just as well.
