The map of the South Shore was full of different names a century ago based on this map from a lengthy feature touting property in the area in the La Patrie newspaper of July 20, 1912. The areas from left to right are: Riviera, Greenfield Park, Victoria Park, St. Lambert's Heights, Brooklyn Park, Southwark, Belleville, Montreal Sud, Parc Coteau Rouge, Parc Ste. Helene, Tunnel Terminal, Gentilly Sud, Longueuil, Longueuil Annex, Tunnel City.
And here's a bonus photo from the same paper one day earlier in which kids in Guybourg, sorta around Cadillac St. in East End Montreal are suffering a water shorage, as the pump has run dry. If you have the patience to navigate through that newspaper you'll realize the photo is fitting as children were dropping like flies that year as reflected in the obituaries.

Wow, thanks for the second picture! I live in the Guybourg part of the Mercier neighborhood, and the triplex I live in probably was around (or about to built) when the picture with the kids was taken.
