But what's that in the good doc's left hand? Yes siree Bob, Good ol' Alton is offering the kid serious lessons in the dangers of second-hand smoke, he's clearly way ahead of his time.

Dr's secret trick - blow smoke in their faces
Mtl's Dr. Alton Goldbloom, quite famous as a kid doctor, streets named after him, etc, seen here in 1964 with 5 year old Serge Dubreau, who he undoubtedly cured of some ailment. But what's that in the good doc's left hand? Yes siree Bob, Good ol' Alton is offering the kid serious lessons in the dangers of second-hand smoke, he's clearly way ahead of his time.
And to bring it full circle, Alton's son, Victor, in pushing through the 76 Olympics. was a big proponent of getting it paid with cigarette taxes.
