Yet journalists can tell you all about 'em! Chilrens, here is the monetary cost for the happiest moment of the happiest hours of your day, brought to you by the miracle of alcohol, with bonus price-of-Guinness added. I'm glad that you included the new Bull Pub! and didn't include the Cock N Bull!
ReplyDeletewow, been away from montreal just long enough to be horrified by these prices. in a bar i was at on thursday here in sf, well drinks start at .50 then go up 50 cents every 30 minutes, to max out at 4.00 ... and that's not even one of the happy hour places that serves food. my neighborhood pub does $1 kirins all night on tuesdays, and the pizza joint around the corner always has $1 pbrs. insane "deals" up in montreal (though i guess with how much more attractive the women are up there, you don't need so many drinks to prowl around).
ReplyDeleteThe glory days of Happy Hour were back when it was 2 for 1 straight up!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of pubs, what's the story on the Cock and Bull? Supposedly the owners have opened the Bull Pub on Ste. Catherines but there's a Cock and Bull in the same location as the old one.
ReplyDeletePaul
