Happenin' peeps!

Many people doing exciting things in Montreal these days.
Taylor Noakes, a Con U student, has been doggedly following an interesting initiative to have students fund a move to the Faubourg, which is a massively expensive undertaking that will make a few bucks for certain people. He offers a good recap of the goings-on here.
Patrick Shearing, in the middle here, is another student, originally from the Gaspe, has a fine taste in women but a bad taste in hockey sweaters. Anyway he has started cataloging local graffiti. I'm no graffiti fan but I like this site.
Kyle MacDonald had a fascination for the Movember grow-a-moustache for cancer project that caught on big time. (He suggests you mail your stache to Tom Selleck once you shave it.)
He has invented Tanuary, the idea being that you go out and get a great sun tan to raise money for skin cancer research.

  1. Thanks for the Tanuary mention, but I must say that it was Darren Stace-Smith from Vancouver who came up with the tans-for-skin-cancer-research scheme. I just started the Facebook page. Hopefully his dream will become a full-fledged cancer-free reality!

  2. Wow, what a great idea! Perpetuate the very cultural phenomenon that leads to skin cancer in the first place.
