Speaking of stadia and tattoos...I remember the military tattoo at the old Autostade in '67, I think.

I think the Van Doos band were there, marching to Vive La Canadienne. Stirring.

  4. There is more to this story. To get this tattoo the man had to get a loan from a friend, however that wasn't enough to pay for the tattoo roof, so the man had to get another loan from another friend. Now the man is in deep debt and wants to get the tattoo removed. Oh yeah almost forgot. The mans name is Owen.

  5. And he will be Owen for life.
In any case, 99.99% of tattoos are sported by losers, grunts, and riff-raff....they will look super ugly as their carriers age. Saw a Michigan crackwhore once with a pelvis tattoo of the Baby Phat logo...what a weird piece of a*s.

yeah, but for a retractable roof stadium, another body part might be required.

  7. I agree with much that has been said here regarding Tattoos and those who elect to wear them.

    Sort of a personal Graffiti?

Tats and Graffiti have allot in common.

Tats on the body, Graffiti on an overpass.

    Personal statements and defacement.

Both on the body and a concrete wall.

Tats, usually are willingly applied to ones' own personal property rather than the exterior of someone ELSE'S personal property without authorization.

Tats can often be covered with clothing if their subject matter may offend.

Graffiti is out there in every ones' face 24/7/365 somewhat diminished by darkness depending on its location.

Now, someone in a previous post said Graffiti is ART.

True, it may well be deemed that, as much shows great thought, skill and originality.

    Some Graffiti is downright beautiful.

An astounding blend of colours and ideas.

HOWEVER, Graffiti is DEFACEMENT when applied to property, public or private, without the owner's permission, no matter how wonderful the subject matter.

( Some advertising can also be described as Graffiti, and it is everywhere, too.

Likewise NOISE, an audible Graffiti. )

Why five miscreants were in St Henri in the early morning on the CNR tracks applying overpass Tats is a wonderment?

Were they privileged rich West Island spoiled brats travelling in their parents' Lexus, Infiniti or BMW to go to a part of town no one wants to visit in daylight? so ugly beneath the Echangeur Turcot?

Did they steal the paint from Handy Andy?

They are not Angels when they do stupid things that affects others and others' property.

If they get into trouble, get hurt, or, get killed, they expect First Responders to step in and clean up their mess.

Getting hit by a train is real MESSY!

    Track Graffiti?

Showing an astounding and colourful true-to-life spray of the Taggers innermost being?

Angels in the making who have always 'Just turned their lives around.'

They have ALWAYS just turned their lives around!

    Always!!

Just as the engine hit them, that is.

Poor Engineer and Conductor who had to walk back and see the carnage.

Poor First Responders who have to sop up and SMELL the residue.

Hmmmm. A Graffiti Wall in Memorium to the teens killed by the train.

( And a bronze bigger-than-life statue to Saint Graffiti with an arm raised in supplication to the Heavens and a spray can in each hand.

A silent plea for Absolution? Forgiveness? Praise?

With eyebrows, lobes, nose and elsewhere pierced with studs and chains.

Neon Halo of a Swastika or some such device above their Sacred Head.

    Dreadlocks.

Tats in profusion, cell phone on the hip.

Saint Graffiti! a new Icon! for the unwashed masses! )

With a Tramways fare box adjacent.

    Je les blasphème!

    Saint Graffiti.

Hope the Taxpayer is NOT involved in the Memorial Graffiti Wall.

Let the families pay in lieu of teaching the kids common sense.

Let a tagger spray THEIR house, car, dog, business and see the reaction.

Graffiti around trains is dangerous, but, easy to avoid getting hurt, as trains run on tracks on a given path.

NOW, if the bastards want a challenge, let them 'tag' moving semis on the 401 from cars or running alongside.

Do it at night in winter, for a thrill.

No sympathy for the damage and emotional mayhem they cause in this situation.

'Died saving a Graffitist' as a reason on the 100 Workers' Memorial down on Front St. in Toronto for a First Responder who died saving a Tagger from a bridge?

    Tattoos and Graffiti.

    Thank You.

Regarding the proposed Memorial Wall to the kids killed by the train under the Turcot Interchange.

'Come spray a condolence' has a certain ring to it, doesn't it?
