Norman Bethune strikes a pose

Norman Bethune who was such a great doctor that they built a statue of him on Guy and De Maisonneuve, is seen here in a photo likely taken before he moved to Montreal in 1928.
His accomplishemts became well-known thanks to friend Ted Allen's 1952 biography called The Scalpel the Sword.
The statue was donated by China in 1977.
And below? It's Melanie Auld, a B.C.-based jeweller whose hubby Alex won the Coolopolis Lord Sandwich award for earning the most amount of money while doing the least amount of work.
He had about the easiest job in the city: he was backup goaltender behind Carey Price, earning about $1 million per season to play 750 minutes in 2010-11.
How much does that work out to per hour?

Mme. Auld, but I'd like to hear her opinions about healthcare, poutine and parking before calling her a Montrealer.

I think number 2 is Alex Auld's wife.
