At least if a driver sitting in his parked car decides to "door" a passing cyclist, that hapless cyclist won't be able to swerve out of the way without crashing over the median. ;-)
I believe they moved the bike path from the southside of Rene-Levesque to the north side. Dumb idea really.. Since the southside has less intersection therefore safer. Also it was a waste of cash considering the path was fine where it was.
