St. Raymond's school - which one joined the world of crime?

Who's good with faces? One of these Grade 5 pupils at the now-defunct St. Raymond's School on Old Orchard in 1958 is the same 65-year-old man in the inset photo (and yes I know which one).
After he grew up, he pursued a career in the underworld, eventually serving nine years in Florida when nabbed in a drug sting. More recently he dealt with some high-profiled weapons charges in Montreal. By some accounts he might possibly be getting in the news again before long ago. Anybody want to say who he is or try to match the face?
We have a correct reply! Luciano Canci is sitting in the back on the right. He was arrested in 2010 on weapons charges while acting as a bodyguard for developer Tony Magi.
Canci, to our knowledge, has never committed a violent crime. Magi also has a clean slate other than that same weapons charge. So we're not here to vilify anybody.
One French-language media outlet report recently quoted an unnamed source as saying that recently-freed reputed local mob boss Vito Rizzuto blames Magi for the death of his son Nicholas Jr. outside Magi's office on Upper Lachine in 2009.
So we're assuming that's baseless nonsense, but on the slim chance that there's some veracity to that claim, Canci might be well-advised to stay alert for the next little while assuming he's still performing those bodyguarding functions.
Mob bosses live high-profile, lavish existences but their soldiers are chronically underpaid and exploited and suffer a very hard existence, so we urge anybody thinking of entering that world to avoid the lure of fast and easy cash, because the real money is in learning and getting certified in a trade, or getting a university degree.
