Just south of Roy. I know there wasa a Canadian astronaut who lived there, but across the street. He never went up in space, but there was a small claim to fame.
I hate this interface, Kristian – can't you move to a real blogging platform like Wordpress instead of this 1996-era clunker? I wrote a comment and have no idea whether it went into a queue or vanished into the void, but all I was saying was I agree it's Nelligan – there's a plaque on the house and a monument to him nearby in the square.
I tried several times without success. I'll try again because I am pretty sure that Paul Berval lived in one of the flats. Does anyone remember him. A very talented and funny guy. Funny in either language.
Love to get comments! Please, please, please speak your mind ! Links welcome - please google "how to embed a link" it'll make your comment much more fun and clickable.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Kate. I ended up posting a second time because I wasn't sure my first comment went through.

He left Quebec a month ago. Got fed up of being taxed into bankruptcy.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, Blogger sucks. Any plan to move to a new interface?
Nelligan lived a few doors up, though, until he had a breakdown and ended up in St-Jean-de-Dieu.
