All gone now: Clark and St. Kate '40


Rainy July 16, 1940. Clark and St. Catherine Streets. All gone now. On the other hand, there's a sensational vacant lot there. Thanks again, Jean!

    Ste Catherine (north side) just west if Clark used to have the big Woodhouse furniture store and The Only Café, the kind of sleazy bar Chimples would enjoy.

    The empty parking lot off Clark now is home to Bourque Street.
    not built upon.
    Full of garbage.
    I can't think of a more appropriate way to remember hizzoner.
