My first reaction as the same at Wayne's. I lived at 1242 St Mark and learned to skate in the lot on the picture (which is on the odd-numbered side of the street.)
Auf der Maur lived on Tupper between Fort and St Mark for a while; but that's irrelevant because no one would condsider him the greatest writer.

I just watched the Levesque miniseries again (twice too often, you say?) and Levesque tells reporters that Auf der Maur supports him and sent money.
