Montreal stripping in the courts

Montreal strippers on the way back from working in a club in Quebec City complained about a cop who went through their purse after they refused to show ID. Their complaint was dismissed.
Nick Polyzos, a local notary who owns the building where his Kingdom strip club is located on the Main had a suit-countersuit with the owner of the strip club Patrick Lemaire. They don't seem to like each other. The judge sided with Lemaire and Polyzos has to pay him $34,000.
The Figaro Bar in St. Eustache had its booze license suspended in March for basically being a brothel, it will be missed by men who paid $100 for a certain type of service, and $200 for something more complete, seems kinda expensive, no?
A stripper with a four year old kid was hauled into family court when the child's arm was broken and he was attacked by the family dog.The dad asked for custody.
Woodson Derisca,30, was found guilty of pimping a teenage girl, who had working in bars and motels. The court resume of proceedings contains some fascinating text message discussions.

  1. Et pendant ce temps, des centaines de salons de massage font la même chose sans être sous la tutelle de la Régie des bars...

  2. Found time to read the SMS, it's almost a playbook of pimp lingo, sad, sad.
