Montreal restaurant gimmick - order on your table

A joint called I-Burger around St. Cat and Metcalfe downtown has a newfangled system that allows you to order by pressing buttons on a touchscreen on your table. I am sorry but that is just cool. You down?

  1. Totally down with it. And that dessert pictured in the post is delicious.

  2. Howdy!

Um, no I'm not down. If you go to a restaurant to play at a table, you're either 5 years old or still playing Ms. Pacman in the 80s.

I go to a restaurant to eat, and the food at iBurger is not good. Period. But I hope you at least got some coin for writing the post.

There's a new A&W that apparently has the same feature (so it must be the latest fad). I was reading about the A&W somewhere, and barely took notice of where it was, then I was walking downtown and passed it. But I'm blank about the location, other than it is around ConU and I'm pretty sure on de Maisoneuve. Maybe about the corner of Guy. I didn't go in.

  5. Whenever I can use technology to minimize human contact, I'm super happy.

I'm coming home in August and will definitely be checking out this place. Even though I hate this kind of food.
