Separatist Park Ex MNA accused of luring refugees as campaign workers with false promises

Chilean-Quebec separatist Andres Fontecilla, who represents the Park Ex (Laurier Dorion) riding in the Naitonal Assembly, has been posting many photos of himself with residents from ethnic minorities, who apparently support his efforts at re-election.

It's unusual because those minorities usually don't support separatist parties such as his Quebec Solidaire, who seek to undermine Canada, the country they immigrated to.

Fontecilla, according to his accusers, has been luring the minorities to help with his campaign by offering them National Assembly Certificates of Recognition, an impressive-looking document which gets them salivating in hopes that it might help their plight.

Some of the individuals involved are fighting deportation and seek any sort of official help possible to support their refugee claims.

So the implied promise of support is seen as a means of exploiting those hopes.

His Liberal party rival in the upcoming election, Deepak Awasti, issued a press release Thursday, noting that he has filed a complaint to the National Assembly ethics commissioner under the claim that Fontecilla has inappropriately employed the official symbols in an exploitative manner.
